"Of Mice and Men" Book Report

Of Mice and Men, a book about two men struggling through life in the west. A land of farmers and hard working men. The two men are George and Lennie. In the beging of they book George and Lennie are being runed out of Weed for an incident involving Lennie and a young girl. Lennie wanted to feel her soft dress and she didn't let him so he decided to grab her and well she didn't like that to much and Lennie was a big strong man, he kind of hurt her. So for that they had to leave Weed. They go to work at a farm not to far from Weed where they meet Candy, Crooks, Curley, Curley's wife, Slim, The Boss, and Carlson.

Lennie having a slight mental disability was kind of a big kid. So one night when Curley's wife tries to suduse him he doesn't know what to do. He tells her that George told him to stay away from her, but at the end they kiss, he gets scared and grabs her. As she gets afraid she screams, this makes Lennie even more afraid and covers her mouth and shakes her from side to side, until he snaps her neck, and she dies. He hides her under some hey and goes to a place they had camped out the day before they went to the ranch.

Soon after they where looking for Lennie and Curley's wife, they found Curley's wife dead where Lennie had left her. After this they all went looking for Lennie and they went to get a gun and found out that the gun was missing, they assumed Lennie had taken. George knowing where Lennie would be he sent the other guys away and went to Lennie. He found Lennie under the tree, Lennie being very scared asked George to tell him the story of when they were gonna buy a ranch and have rabbits. As George was telling the story he took out the gun, put it on the back of Lennie's head and shot.
